This is our own highly flexible Diploma in TESOL series of teacher training courses. Skills and knowledge are backed up with a theoretical background designed to give you a robustness in the working life of a teacher, achieving that extra for career development. Each award in this Diploma family is a full TESOL/TEFL teaching award.
Take this Diploma by online study with 240 hours course effort, achievable in three-four months but with up to 18 months allowed if you have other commitments.
Unlike many course providers, we recognise that not all teaching is to late teens and adults. One of the twelve units in each Diploma in the series is TEACHING YOUNG LEARNERS. This ensures that you are also ready to enjoy and manage classes of 6-12 year old learners.

THE TESOL COLLEGE ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO YOUNG LEARNERS (ASIA)
This course provides you with the confidence and ability to handle and enjoy teaching classes of children. This moves on from what has possibly been a concentration on teaching adults in your previous TESOL/TEFL course. Units cover how national education systems organise education of younger age groups, how the child acquires language, specific classroom and teacher issues in teaching of younger learners, and ideas of classroom activities that will work. Finally, we familiarise with phonics courses, the Montessori method, after-school tuition, out-of-school enrichment and study tours.

THE TESOL COLLEGE ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN TEACHING IELTS (ASIA)
This course is probably the best preparation available to teach IELTS in an Asian context. Units cover the structure of the test, students, courses and schools, and teaching in the four test areas on IELTS preparation courses. 50 hours course effort.
